General Terms

Apartments the Apartment booked by the Main Guest, details of which are presented on the Booking and in the Confirmation.

Booking is the Booking requested by the Main Guest and confirmed by The Light in the Confirmation.

Booking Information is the information requested by The Light and given by the Main Guest in making the Booking including, the Pre-registered Guest’s full and real name, permanent residential address, valid credit or debit card details, telephone number and email address.

Company shall mean Capital Climb Ltd registered office is at 23, Tavistock St, London WC2E 7NX.

Contents shall mean the contents of the Apartment including without limitation the furniture, furnishings, fittings, decorations, appliances and equipment.

Final Cost of Stay shall mean the Final Total Cost of the Stay including the Total Booking Cost together with any Liability.

Guest shall mean the person(s) authorized to visit, but not Stay, in the Apartment during the Stay, by the Main Guest together with any other Pre-registered Guests.

Identification and Security Check shall mean such checks as the Company shall from time to time deem necessary in order to validate the Booking Information.

Liability shall mean the total amount for which the Main Guest / Pre-registered Guest / Guest is liable in respect of any breach as set in these Terms and Conditions.#Main Guest shall mean the person making the Booking details of whom have been provided in the Booking Information

Pre-authorisation shall mean the pre-authorisation on the Main Guest’s credit card of the Damage Deposit Amount

Pre-registered Guest shall mean the person(s) authorised to stay in the Apartment during the Stay, being the Main Guest together with any other people who are registered in advance as part of the Booking. Subject to the maximum number of people permitted to stay in an Apartment with full details as requested by The Light as set out in the Terms and Conditions

Stay shall mean the Pre-registered Guest’s and Main Guests stay in the Apartment comprising the number of nights booked by the Main Guest.

Governing Law These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law and the parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

The Light Terms and Conditions for all Apartment Reservations

Payment - Upon making the Booking, the Total Booking Cost shall be payable in full by the Main Guest and shall be non-refundable in the event of cancellation within 72 hours following confirmation.

IT IS VITAL THAT CLEARED FUNDS ARE RECEIVED PRIOR TO CHECK IN.

Extended Stays - If you wish to extend your stay please give us plenty of notice. All extensions are subject to availability and the discretion of the management in the event that the Main Guest wishes to order any extras, everything must be paid in full when placing the order.

Damages/Loss - Your credit or debit card will be held as guarantee in the case of any damages to the Apartment or the contents of the Apartment. A full Contents inventory will be given to you on check in and then checked again on check out.

Final Cost of Stay - After departure The Light Serviced Apartment LLP Company shall prepare and send to the Main Guest by email a statement setting out the Final Cost of Stay. In the event that any Liability is due to be paid, the Main Guest authorizes the Company to take such amount directly from the credit card used for payment of the Total Booking Cost. In the event that the Company is unable to take payment for any Liability from such card the Main Guest shall make payment of the Liability forthwith. Failure to make any such payment fully within seven days of dispatch of the statement shall render the Main Guest liable to interest on any outstanding amounts at the rate of four per cent over Bank of England base rate.

Car Parking – A limited number of parking spaces are available in the basement and must be pre booked and pre paid in advance. The Light cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage.

Booking Confirmation

The Booking will become valid and effective only upon completion of the reservation and prepayment of the Apartment in full.

In the event that the Company is unable to complete the Booking Process it shall notify the Main Guest and present an opportunity for the Main Guest to provide any Booking Information which may be missing or which cannot be validated. In the event that the Company is still unable to complete the Booking Process the Company shall notify the Main Guest that the Booking has not been confirmed.

In the event that, following the Confirmation, the Apartment is not available for any reason in respect of all or part of the Stay, the Company shall notify the Main Guest as soon as reasonably practicable. In such circumstances the Company shall use all reasonable endeavors to offer the Pre- registered Guests a suitable alternative apartment. In the event that the Company is unable to offer the Pre-registered Guest a suitable alternative apartment, it shall refund the Total Cost of Stay to the Pre-registered Guest, provided that under no circumstances shall the Company be obliged to the pay to the Pre-registered Guest any further sum(s) by way of compensation or damages arising from such cancellation.

Check-In/Out

The Apartment shall be available exclusively to the Pre-registered Guests from 15.00 hrs on the first day of the stay until 11.00 hrs on the final day of the stay.

The Pre-registered Guest may be able to leave luggage with the Concierge outside these times by prior agreement with The Light.

The Pre-Registered Guest may be able to earlier ‘check-in’ or later ‘check-out’ by prior agreement with and at the discretion of the name of company.

The key card to the Apartment will be available from either reception or the concierge. At the end of the Stay the Pre-registered Guest shall leave the key card in the apartment on the kitchen work surface.

Terms of Stay

The Apartment shall only be occupied by the Pre-registered Guests as stated and shall include the Main Guest. No-one other than the Main Guest shall be permitted to make the Booking on behalf of a Guest without the consent of the Company

The Main Guest shall at all times be responsible for the acts and/or omissions of the Pre-registered Guests and shall be liable to the Company in full for the responsibilities, obligations and liabilities of the Pre-registered Guest as set out in these Terms and Conditions.

The Pre-registered Guest shall not authorise or permit any other person(s) to enter or stay in the Apartment without the prior approval of the Company

The maximum number of persons permitted to stay in the Apartment shall be as below without prior permission given in writing:-

In the case of a studio or one-bedroom apartment - two people

In the case of a two-bedroom apartment - four people

The Main Guest must supply the details of all other guests, thereafter Pre-registered Guests, that will be staying in the Apartment with their full and true postal address, e mail and mobile number.

Guests shall not smoke in the Apartment. In the event that any of the guest s does smoke in the Apartment the Company shall be entitled to charge the Main Guest the sum of £100.00 (one hundred pounds) by way of Liability to cover the additional costs of cleaning and freshening the Apartment. Guests are permitted to smoke on the balcony, providing there is no smell of the remains of smoke in the apartment itself, nor cigarette stubs etc. left out on the balcony. If either of the above is so the company reserved the right to charge the above mentioned £100.

Under no circumstances are any pets or other animals to enter, or stay, and / or visit the

Apartment.

The Pre-registered Guest / Guests shall at all times treat the Apartment and the Contents with care and respect and keep the Apartment at all times reasonably clean and tidy. In the event that the Pre-registered Guests / Guests causes any damage to the Apartment, or any damage to or loss of any of the Contents, the Main Guest shall be responsible in full by way of Liability for such cost of any repair(s) or replacement as the Company shall reasonably determine.

The Pre-registered Guest / Guests shall have respect for all other residents in the vicinity of the Apartment and The Light Building and shall not cause or allow to occur any unreasonable noise or other nuisance.

Our staff are here to help you make the most of your stay, however we will not tolerate rude or offensive behavior. If for any reason there is a breach of this, then the guest will be asked to leave immediately or further action will be taken by our management and staff.

The Pre-registered Guest shall vacate the Apartment at the end of the Stay and other than the rights set out in these Terms and Conditions shall not acquire any other rights in or in relation to the Apartment. For the avoidance of doubt neither the Booking nor the Stay shall amount to any form of lease tenancy or other property right in respect of the Apartment.

In the event that the Pre-registered Guest / Guest breaches any of the terms set out above the Company may at its absolute discretion require the Main Guest or any other Guest to vacate the Apartment forthwith. Such right shall be without prejudice to any other rights or obligations set out in these Terms and Conditions.

The Company shall not be liable to the Pre-registered Guest / Guests for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, to its property, or person, however caused arising from the Stay. Other than any personal injury caused to the Pre-registered Guest / Guest arising directly from the negligence of the Company.

At any times during the Stay the Company may either itself or permit others to enter the Apartment in order to carry out necessary repairs or in order to reasonably assess or prevent any breaches of these Terms and Conditions by the Pre-registered Guest / Guests.
